Summer is the hardest time of year to blog. So much happens in so little of time, it is hard enough to photograph and so much harder to put into words. It is also hard to recount. So here is a collection of photos from our farm when the sun shines bright.
Bringing the hay bales home.
Our heritage breed turkeys.
Our sow had piglets in June.
Our two goat does had twins.
One of our many meat king chickens.
An early photo of our tomatoes.
Our potager garden in June.
The potager garden at the end of August.
Harvesting garlic scapes.
The potager garden with the barn in the background.
Tomatoes in the greenhouse.
We have left summer behind us and are being surrounded by the falling leaves of fall. I hope though that you will enjoy this little recounting of the days when the sun shone bright.
